"Vivian" in Progress

I have been commissioned to make a piece about a woman and her love of quilting by her husband. After many sketches and a few false starts, I am finally getting some where. Creating, whether a quilt or sculpture, is mostly a quiet and contemplative process but when completed, there's a feeling of elation and pride.
